The Halloween Aftermath

I don't have kids so I don't have to do a big Halloween thing. And since I spent the whole weekend working while watching horror movie classics on television, I don't have a mess to clean up, or a bowl of candy I need to get rid of. At my job, they have a costume contest, so that's always fun to see, but I'm going to share with you a couple of pics I got in one of those joke emails making its way around. Sorry, if you've already seen it, but some of these pics are priceless.

And then we wonder why dogs bite.........?

If any of those animals know about lawyers their owners are going to get sued!

my husband would shoot me if I tried to put our dog in something like that. I have been considering a sweater for the really cold months, but I don't think I could even get by with that one.

That one in the bikini is just wrong.

Kiddo and I ended up in a little Halloween gathering Saturday afternoon by accident. There were several dogs dressed up, but nothing to this extent. I guess the thing this year was to put wings on them. I'm pretty sure most of them had wings.

We did see one black lab in a hot dog costume, then a few minutes later, a dachsund in a hot dog costume. I have to say, the second one was funnier.

My cat would scratch me to death if I tried to dress him up. LOL!

You ALMOST make me rethink the hats I have for my cats and the different Holidays. *G*

bookmobiler - So very true. It's got to be some form of abuse, right?

Keri - My sheltie will wear all manner of stuff. He likes the attention, but not all dogs are that way.

Terri - I've put Christmas wreaths on one of my cats. He was fine until he moved and realized it had bells on it. Then he ran from the sound of the bells, but he WAS the sound of the bells. He finally collapsed for either exhaustion or sheer terror. :)

Phillis - The spider dog was particularly creative b/c the costume so closely matched his actual fur. I'm thinking homemade.

Brandy - If the cats are willing, I say go for it. I've always wanted to get my cats to wear straw hats with flowers. I think it would have made a great pic if I could have got all three to do it. But I don't think it could ever have happened.
