It's Tax Day! How many of you spent last night sifting through receipts, punching calculator numbers, or staring at a monitor wishing you'd started the process much sooner--and vowing NEXT YEAR, you'd be on top of things?
In observance of Tax Day, I'm sending you a lovely bouquet of tulips from my front yard.
And if you want to rant, cry, bitch and moan, or just need a hug, I'm here for you!

I wouldn't rant, cry, bitch and moan if my taxes:
Paid college tuition for students who made and kept up good grades. This is our FUTURE, folks.
Kept my roads even marginally free of potholes?
Didn't tie public school monies to the "progress" of my special needs kids, who are progressing beautifully, thank you very much, even if they can't recite seventeenth century battle dates or perform algebraic equations. Like any of us can six months after graduation.
If the representatives in Washington had to live with, and pay for, the health insurance benefits and premiums the rest of us do.
Rant over. The tulips are gorgeous, by the way! :)
Amen Gillian!
I did my ranting, crying, bitching, and moaning last night. But it was at NHL referee's rather than taxes.
So, how about we share a drink or two?
Thanks, Kathy. I did my taxes yesterday and I'm still trying to recuperate from it. Why do they make it so complicated? It's not that hard to do them, but the number of different forms is ridiculous. There has to be a simpler way.
Well said, Gillian! May I also add it would be nice if our reps in D.C. also understood the concept of a BUDGET and the term 'live within your means' which is something most households across America try so very hard to do.
Thanks for giving me the chance to rant! ;)

That poor ref! I bet he didn't know what hit him, Refhater!
Considering it was tax day, I bet a lot of fans had more than the usual level of anger. Yikes!

That's why I had my prepared by an expert, LuAnn, but I did do my triplets' and that was more than enough.
Math is not my strong suit...
