Congratulations to you and Mr. Big--and Mr. Big Brother!

Uh, you probably don't want to hear that I didn't suffer from morning sickness in either of my pregnancies--even with the triplets.

And about that 'baby bump'. You ain't seen nuthin' until you've seen a baby bump associated with multiples. They have these Birth Boards where you're on a loop with everyone who is due in your month. It's really great to go through pregnancy with a bunch of ladies who know exactly what you're going through because they're in the same boat.

As for the morning, afternoon and night sickness? Yeek. No advice there. But I will say I was very sick with my daughter and not so much with my son. The theory is that it's all those extra girl hormones that get you. I've had three girls--and was sick as a dog with them all, so good luck with a girl!--and by the third pregnancy I swear I was showing before I knew I was pregnant. :)

For the quezies, yes, peppermint is a life saver. As are Life Savers, and Sour Gummy Worms. And Baskin Robins Daiquiri Ice ice cream. And dry saltines, eaten before you get out of bed. And ginger ale. Yup, take those prenatal vitamins (good luck, those made me sick, too. Take on a full stomach) cause there are no vitamins in my food suggestions. :)

Just another thought (can you tell I LOVE baby talk?)--keep in close touch with your dentist. The second and third pregnancy were hell on my teeth, probably because the baby was taking all her vitamins and calcium from me while I was existing on ice cream. :)Gillian Laynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15772849187702478349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4542417548623715196.post-44054661725735238332009-02-21T07:59:00.000-06:002009-02-21T07:59:00.000-06:00Oohhh . . . congratulations! Yeah, it's been quite a few years but I had the all-day morning sickness with my daughter (but not my son) so maybe that's a positive sign that the girly thoughts are working. Saltines helped me the most and I was completely over it as soon as I hit the 2nd trimester. So hang in there. I've heard good things about peppermint, too.

Cheryl S.Cherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09677431572554533438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4542417548623715196.post-15656239143104100142009-02-21T00:54:00.000-06:002009-02-21T00:54:00.000-06:00Congratulations!!!! I did it while pregnant and told the doc. She said that was completely fine. I did bump it up to 3 a night (they do taste good). I figured 2 for me 1 for the babe. If taking them before bed still makes you sick, trying taking them with a meal.

Also for extra calcium, doc told me if I ate 1 or 2 Tums a day, then I was good to go.

One the baby bump, I was looking months pregnant BEFORE I was pregnant because of my fertilty treatment.
